Our Town Hall
The Town Hall offers the best in theatre, live comedy and music from leading artists and musicians, a regular craft fair and myriad community groups and activities.
Dating from 1889, Bakewell Town Hall is at the heart of the ancient market town. Operated by a charity, Bakewell Town & Community Trust, the Town Hall is the home of an original theatre, the Town Council and Registrars.

ONE LIFE tells the true story of Sir Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Winton, a young London broker played by Johnny Flynn, who, along with Trevor Chadwick (played by Alex Sharp) and Doreen Warinner (played by Romola Garai) of the British Committee for Refugees in Czechoslovakia, rescued 669 children from the Nazis in the months leading up to World War II.
