Along with welcoming in a new year, I find myself full of anticipation for our first gallery rehang. It’s an odd feeling, waving goodbye to prints that I’ve fallen in love with, tinged with excitement as the wrappings peel back to reveal new delights.
Over the last couple of days, members of the Sheffield Printmakers have been in and out of the Town Hall, bringing all manner of techniques and sizes. Always passionate about their art, full of ideas for the future and an encouraging word for the novice that admires the artistry and skill that graces our walls these days. We’re also planning another print fair and looking into holding printmaking workshops with amazing tutors with a lifetime of experience in creating and teaching.
