BTCT is delighted to announce that we have received funding for Bakewell Live!, a much anticipated project to install at large motorised cinema screen, projector, satellite receiver and 7:1 sound system to allow us to offer live streaming from the National Theatre, along with musical events and film. We have worked for a long time on this, and many of you will have contributed your views to help us formulate the best possible project, and for that we are very grateful. We want to offer the very best theatre, music and film right on your doorstep in Bakewell. The funding allows us to purchase the equipment we need and to take on an extra staff to help us deliver more great events and help secure the future of the building for generations to come. This was generously supported by The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Devonshire Fund.
